As Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer of Elveo Mobile, Ram Viswanathan helps architect the company's strategy and drives execution of key partnerships to deliver mobile connectivity and elevated intelligence to a planet on the move.

Ram draws on decades of experience in the telecommunications and satellite industries, helping shape Elveo Mobile’s approach to a fundamental shift in communications. Elveo Mobile will bring next-generation connectivity directly from satellites to mobile phones, devices and machines everywhere on Earth.

Prior to this role, Ram was Chief Executive Officer of direct-to-device pioneer, Omnispace, and led its merger with Lynk Global to create Elveo. His previous leadership roles include strategic partnerships and business development at Cidera and spearheaded WorldSpace's U.S. joint venture into XM Satellite Radio. Earlier in his career, Ram worked in senior roles at McKinsey & Company's U.S. and European telecom and tech practice and in investment banking at Goldman Sachs & Company.

Ram holds master’s degrees from the MIT Sloan School of Management and Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.

Mike Dano is a Lead Industry Analyst in Ookla’s research and content team. He covers the North and South American markets, and global technology trends. Previously, Mike was a journalist covering the global telecom industry for 25 years at publications including RCR Wireless News, Fierce Network and Light Reading.

Anshul Bhatt is the Chief Product Officer, OSS Business Unit, Rakuten Symphony. Prior to his current roles, Anshul was Head of Intelligent Ops Product Strategy and Technical Sales, and business unit head of AI Operations at Rakuten Mobile with a mission to automate 100% of network operations.

Anshul has personally witnessed the pains of day-to-day network operations and is on a mission to transform how we manage networks by actualizing a fully autonomous network. Before joining Rakuten in 2019, Anshul worked at tier-1 telecom operators Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel as well as in product company Subex in Network Analytics domain.

Anshul holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). He is currently based in Denver, USA.

Gerry Collins is a Director of Product Management for Enterprise at SES. In this role, Gerry drives SES’s strategy to build new and enhanced connectivity services by combining the power of SES’s multi-orbit network. Gerry has a focus on how multi-orbit communications meets the needs of Industry Digitization and provides resiliency to Digital Infrastructure.

Gerry’s career so far has spanned both the satellite and cellular industries, including senior engineering positions in Mobile Network Operators in the UK, Hong Kong, and France before joining Nortel and taking responsibility for the cellular infrastructure business in Europe. Gerry first saw the opportunity for hybrid Terrestrial/Non-Terrestrial solutions as Head of Remote Solutions at Altobridge and then as Director of Business Development at iDirect (the latter acquired the former in 2014).

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College Dublin in Ireland and a master’s in business administration from the Cranfield School of Management in the UK.

Gerry is a regular contributor at conferences on topics such as Satellite-Terrestrial Convergence, the role of satellite communications in 5G and innovative ways to connect the unconnected.

In his spare time Gerry enjoys coaching rugby.

Lluc is a Research Director within the Space practice. He leads the Satellite D2D programme. He also oversees research production across the Satellite Capacity, Satellite Broadband and Satellite Mobility programmes and the Space Spectrum module. Lluc’s expertise spans satellite direct-to-device (D2D) and satellite IoT, satellite constellations, satellite broadband and satellite networking technologies. His work addresses key industry challenges including constellation capabilities, consumer perceptions and the adoption of satellite technologies and standards, spectrum strategies and policies, and emerging technologies such as flat-panel antennas (FPAs), virtualisation, cloud and AI.

Lluc is actively involved in consulting projects that support telecoms operators in strategising satellite adoption, forecasting supply and demand for next-generation broadband systems and developing market entry strategies for D2D services and IoT constellations. He also helps clients to assess demand for ground segment equipment and vertical applications.

He joined Analysys Mason when Northern Sky Research (NSR) was acquired in 2022. Before joining NSR, he worked at a start-up developing space tourism and satellite launch solutions in technical and business roles. 

Lluc graduated as an Aerospace Engineer from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2011), where he collaborated with one of its research centres (Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC)) to develop computational fluid dynamics (CFD) codes. He holds a Master’s degree in management from ESADE Business School (2012) specialising in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Prasanna Nagarajan is the CTO of OQ Technology, a global leader in 5G NB-IoT and D2D services and a prominent player in the NewSpace industry.

With almost a decade of Innovation & executive management leadership experiences and a strong background in 3GPP standardized 4G and 5G technologies and satellite Communications, Prasanna is spearheading OQ Technology’s Innovation and Technology Roadmap and 3GPP Non-Terrestrial Networks standardization from within OQ and is the primary interface to all Institutional collaborations like the European Space Agency, Luxembourg Space Agency, the European Commission, etc. for OQ.

Under his leadership, OQ Technology successful industry firsts from being the first company the world to demonstrate NB IoT from Space in 2019 to the most recent successes of connecting drones using 5G and Emergency broadcasts from European Satellites to unmodified smartphones. 

Before OQ, Prasanna worked for NEC research labs as part of its 3GPP research & standardization team, delivering on standards towards 5G architectural enhancements.

Jens leads Deutsche Telekom's Satellite IoT program, integrating satellite networks into DT’s IoT connectivity portfolio to enable worldwide coverage. With over a decade of experience as a senior product manager, he has led key IoT innovations including the commercial launch of NB-IoT and LTE-M connectivity.

As a co-founder of Myriota, Dr. David Haley drives the company's technology strategy and advanced product development. A curious and energetic entrepreneur, he is dedicated to scaling Myriota into a world-leading global enterprise. David also oversees the company’s extensive patent portfolio, championing disruptive inventions that deliver genuine value to customers.

With a proven track record across deep-tech telecommunications and space industries, David previously served as Lead Research Engineer at Cohda Wireless and Communications Payload Engineer for the FedSat program. His industry contributions extend into wireless standards for maritime and intelligent transport systems. David holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Science.

Peng is the Vice President of Policy & Regulatory at GSOA, where he leads advocacy efforts around satellite spectrum management, licensing, and national policy initiatives. With experience in telecoms, mobile, and satellites, he has advised governments and industry players globally.

Previously at Eutelsat OneWeb, Peng shaped licensing frameworks for Low Earth Orbit constellations and satellite regulatory procedures for WRC-23. At GSMA, he led the global campaign optimising spectrum licensing for mobile operators, engaging policymakers and advocating regulatory best practices across developing markets.

Peng holds a Master's in Telecommunication from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from London Business School. He speaks English, French and Mandarin fluently.
